Bio: Patricia Q. Bidar is a working-class writer from San Pedro, California, with family roots in New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. She is an alumna of the U.C. Davis Graduate Writing Program, and holds a BA in Filmmaking. Her collections have been finalists in the Gold Line Chapbook Competition and Moon City Short Fiction Award. Her work has been featured in several anthologies including the forthcoming Flash Fiction America (W.W. Norton, 2023). Patricia’s stories have garnered numerous nominations for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, and Best Microfiction. She lives with her family outside of Oakland, CA.
